Due to its continuously growing enrollment, Wilmington Christian School is currently seeking energetic, creative, and committed candidates to join our faculty and staff. A college preparatory school strongly rooted in the principles of Biblical Christianity, Wilmington Christian School has a heritage that dates to 1946, and currently serves 550 students in Pre-K3 through 12th grade.

Secondary School Visual Arts Teaching Position
“Wilmington Christian School is seeking an innovative and qualified secondary school educator to join the faculty as a visual art teacher.  This position will include the teaching of Pre-AP Studio Art and AP Studio Art to upper level art students.  Candidates should be hard-working and enthusiastic, with excellent subject knowledge of the visual arts. A love for the Lord and a personal relationship with Christ, displayed in daily life, is essential.
This position involves teaching students in 8th – 12th grade and encouraging the growth of visual arts co-curricular activities.  Qualified candidates must be motivated individuals with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the visual arts.

Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher
Wilmington Christian School is seeking an Early Childhood Education teacher for a new 2-year old program.  Candidates must have training, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, specific to early childhood education, and the ability to employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children.  Experience is preferred.  Candidates should be eager to participate in a program that provides a stimulating, safe, and age-appropriate educational environment based on sound Biblical teaching.  Candidates must have and be able to describe a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with our Statement of Faith.  Excellent organizational skills and effective communication with parents and staff are essential.  Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and resume to Gwen Campbell, Elementary School Principal, gcampbellwilmingtonchristian.org.
