2017 Awards

Scholastic Art 

The Scholastic Art Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists. The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art Awards. Through the Awards, students receive opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships. Students across America submitted 300,000 original works during our 2016 program year across 28 different categories of art and writing.

Honorable Mention: Molly McGrail -Mixed Media

Honorable Mention: Wystan Wang -Drawing, Photography

Two of our international students, Wynstan Binyu Wang and Nick Zebang Zhang competed in the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts 2017 Excellence in Drawing
Calendar Competition.  Their drawings were chosen to be on display at the annual Spring Art Show held at the Hagley Soda House in April 2016 and will now be included in the
2017 DFVA Excellence in Drawing Calendar.
